If you need a karma boost and want to contribute to a good cause, head to “Art Karma.”
It’s the annual fundraiser for Art 180, a non-profit organization based in Richmond, VA, that helps young people express themselves through art and share their stories.
Plant Zero Art Center will host the Dec. 3 event from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is $20, in advance; $25 at the door or $40 per couple. Kids are free.
I’m a professional teddy bear artist and this is the first time my handcrafted bears will be part of the silent auction. Other goodies and services up for bid include fly-casting lessons and artwork created in Virginia.
